CRM & data specialist – 60-80%

Your mission :
The Vice Presidency for Innovation of EPFL (VPI) is looking for a polyvalent, autonomous, and entrepreneurial engineer to manage the business side of the CRM application for the whole EPFL as well as to develop various reporting tools in relation to finance, industrial relations and EPFL Startups data. The candidate will be part of a dynamic team that participates daily in building the operational excellence of EPFL.

Main duties and responsibilities include :
CRM Specialist
  • Act as a business expert of the CRM Application
  • Collaborate closely with the IT CRM Service Manager
  • Assess, monitor, and take actions to guarantee CRM data quality, consistency, and coherence
  • Preserve and improve data management processes and accuracy.
  • Cooperate with different stakeholders to keep them informed about upcoming data management initiatives
  • Best practices advisor with strong consulting mindset to ensure overall CRM usability and adoption over EPFL
  • Design and conduct CRM training for users
  • Provide expertise for CRM application (especially the Marketing module) as a service to the EPFL CRM community
  • Design and configure Dynamics Dashboards and the Dynamics Marketing elements for specific marketing actions
Data Specialist
  • Develop data visualization solutions for CRM key users, in coordination with the IT CRM Service Manager
  • Extract insights and information from various datasets
  • Develop data visualization solutions for reporting purpose on other data sets
  • Develop websites and web pages (WordPress) integrating Tableau features
Your profile :
We encourage applications from a broad range of fields and experiences.
  • Degree in IT, engineering, or business
  • 2+ years experience working on direct marketing, CRM programs;
  • Good knowledge of CRM tools, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Marketing
  • Technology lover; familiarity with data management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to tell data based stories;
  • Knowledge of Tableau server and/or sharepoint sites is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to different environments with different needs with notion of change management
  • Good knowledge of WordPress, HTML, XML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS
  • Curious, jack-of-all-trades, autonomous and organized
  • You are fluent in French (C1 level) and have a good level of English (B2 level)
